Naperville, IL – Naperville is set to celebrate the vibrant culture of India with its annual India Day Parade and Celebration on Sunday, August 11. The parade, which begins at 11:00 a.m., will feature traditional music, dance performances, and colorful floats, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of India.
In preparation for the event, several road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday. Ogden Avenue and sections of Jefferson Avenue will be closed to traffic starting at 10:00 a.m., with no parking allowed along the parade route. Limited parking will be available at designated spots around the city, marked by blue symbols on the event map.
According to the City of Naperville, the parade will proceed south along Mill Street, concluding at Jefferson Avenue. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their routes accordingly and use public transportation where possible to avoid delays.
