Severe Weather Warning for Ohio: Flooding and Strong Winds Possible

According to the US National Weather Service in Cleveland, repeated rounds of heavy rain across the region could allow for isolated instances of flooding, especially in typically flood-prone areas such as urban, low-lying, and poor drainage areas. Some storms could become strong to severe, with damaging winds approaching 60 mph, but confidence is low.

Today’s forecast predicts rainy conditions from 7 AM to 8 AM, followed by partly cloudy conditions at 11 AM. Temperatures will range from 72°F in the morning, peaking at 80°F by mid-afternoon. The chance of precipitation remains high throughout the day at 85%.

The weekend outlook shows a mix of weather conditions. On Saturday, there is a 40% chance of rain with temperatures ranging from 72°F to 81°F. Sunday is expected to be sunny, with temperatures rising from 71°F to 84°F.

The extended forecast for next week predicts variable weather. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 84°F. However, Tuesday brings a 45% chance of rain and cooler temperatures, ranging from 69°F to 78°F. The middle of the week will see a slight cool-down, with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the 60s. By Thursday, conditions will clear up with sunny skies and a high of 77°F. The week will end with temperatures rising again to the low 80s.
