According to the US National Weather Service in Paducah, KY, precipitation chances will increase today, with scattered to numerous thunderstorms expected through Monday. Temperatures will be slightly below normal over the weekend, ranging from 77°F to 87°F today and 80°F to 86°F on Sunday.
As we move into next week, temperatures will rise above normal. By Tuesday, highs are expected to reach between 88°F and 95°F, with a heat index of 100 to 110 degrees from Tuesday through Thursday. Monday will see highs from 84°F to 91°F, with scattered thunderstorms. The middle of the week will bring the hottest temperatures, with highs nearing 96°F on Wednesday and Thursday.
