According to the US National Weather Service Quad Cities Iowa/Illinois, locally heavy rainfall is also expected. These conditions may continue into Thursday with a few lingering showers before the weather turns drier and slightly warmer by Friday. The heat is set to intensify over the weekend, with temperatures soaring into the 90s and heat index values approaching 100 by Sunday and Monday.

Today’s forecast indicates a 50% chance of thunderstorms, with temperatures ranging from 65 to 85 degrees. Tonight, the rain will continue, potentially leading to flooding in low-lying areas, with temperatures dropping to 66 degrees. Thursday’s outlook shows a 45% chance of showers, and temperatures will range from 64 to 83 degrees.

The weather will clear up by Friday, with sunny skies and temperatures between 64 and 87 degrees. Saturday will bring warmer temperatures, reaching a high of 90 degrees with a 30% chance of nighttime showers. Sunday is expected to be hot and sunny, with highs between 75 and 94 degrees.
