Nashville, TN Robbery Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Stealing French Bulldog

Nashville, TN – A Nashville man wanted in connection with a robbery investigation has been arrested, and a French bulldog reported stolen earlier this year has been recovered, according to police.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, detectives arrested 28-year-old Errick Mayfield at his Antioch residence on outstanding warrants. Authorities said Mayfield was wanted on charges of robbery and aggravated assault.

Police allege Mayfield took a French bulldog named Bella during a robbery that occurred in April. Detectives located Mayfield and took him into custody during an arrest operation at his residence.

During the operation, officers recovered Bella and returned the dog to law enforcement custody. Police did not immediately release additional details regarding the circumstances of the alleged robbery or the dog’s condition following its recovery.

Authorities also arrested 39-year-old Latrecia Golden at the residence. According to police, Golden was charged with felony theft. Investigators said she surrendered Bella to officers during the arrest operation.

The arrests mark a significant development in the case, which began after the reported robbery in April. Police have not announced whether additional charges or arrests are expected.

As with all criminal cases, the allegations against the suspects remain accusations. Both individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
