Green Bay, Wisconsin – Rain will move into Wisconsin by Thursday afternoon, with a brief mix of snow possible later in the day as temperatures begin to fall.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, dry conditions will hold through today and Wednesday, with highs climbing into the upper 40s and low 60s across central Wisconsin, including Wausau, Stevens Point, and Wisconsin Rapids. The next system arrives Thursday, bringing widespread rain by midday with chances increasing into the afternoon and evening.

Cities including Green Bay, Appleton, and Oshkosh will see mainly rain through most of Thursday, though a transition to a rain-snow mix is possible later in the day as cooler air filters in. No significant accumulation is expected, but brief slushy spots could develop on untreated surfaces late Thursday night.

Drivers along I-41 and Highway 29 should prepare for wet roads and reduced visibility during the afternoon and evening hours Thursday. Conditions will begin to dry out by Friday as clouds decrease, but temperatures will fall back into the 30s and low 40s.

Residents should plan for changing conditions Thursday afternoon and evening, though major travel impacts are not expected. Additional updates may follow if colder air arrives faster than expected.
