Tulsa, Oklahoma – Low rain chances will develop late Wednesday night across northeast Oklahoma, with light showers possible along Interstate 44 and U.S. Highway 75 before spreading into northwest Arkansas by Thursday morning.

According to the US National Weather Service in Tulsa, an upper-level disturbance moving across the region will bring scattered precipitation after midnight. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light, with most locations receiving less than one-tenth of an inch.

Communities including Tulsa, Bartlesville and Muskogee may see spotty showers toward daybreak Thursday. Rain chances will extend into northwest Arkansas, including Fayetteville and areas along U.S. Highway 71, during the morning hours.

Forecasters indicate precipitation will gradually taper from west to east Thursday afternoon as the disturbance exits the region. No severe weather is anticipated, and widespread travel disruptions are not expected due to the limited rainfall totals.

Motorists traveling along I-44, I-244 and I-40 early Thursday may encounter brief wet pavement and minor visibility reductions during passing showers. While impacts should remain minimal, drivers are encouraged to use caution during the morning commute.

Temperatures will remain mild, and the system is not expected to produce wintry precipitation.

Commuters, delivery drivers and early-morning travelers across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas should monitor updated forecasts for refined timing as showers move through.

Residents are encouraged to check for updates from local weather officials as conditions evolve overnight.
