Ohio Flood Watch: Heavy Rainfall Could Trigger Flooding Across Belmont, Zanesville Until Sunday Morning

Zanesville, OH – A flood watch continues in effect through Sunday morning for parts of east-central Ohio, as heavy rainfall over the weekend threatens to cause flooding in low-lying areas.

The National Weather Service issued the alert for multiple counties, including Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, and Tuscarawas. Areas such as Zanesville, Cambridge, New Philadelphia, and Martins Ferry are expected to be impacted by possible rising waters in rivers, creeks, and streams.
