Baltimore, MD – A series of showers and breezy conditions are expected to impact much of Maryland through Wednesday morning, with clearer skies forecast beginning Thursday.

According to the US National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, a surface front will bring scattered rain showers to the I-95 corridor and eastern parts of the state through midday Monday, followed by partial clearing in the afternoon. Additional showers are likely to redevelop late Tuesday and continue into early Wednesday.

Mountain regions in western Maryland will see cooler temperatures, ranging from highs of 45°F Monday to lows near 22°F by Wednesday. Meanwhile, central and eastern Maryland areas, including Baltimore and Washington, D.C., will experience temperatures climbing from the mid-60s Monday to a high near 68°F on Friday.

Residents should prepare for gusty winds and slippery conditions during commutes, especially Tuesday night into early Wednesday. Drivers are urged to slow down and monitor updates from local transportation agencies.

Conditions improve significantly starting Thursday with milder, sunnier weather expected through the weekend. Dry conditions and warm temperatures are forecast to continue Friday, offering a more typical early spring pattern across the region.
