Lane County, OR – A large-scale search continues this week for a missing 22-year-old Eugene man last seen in late April, with crews focusing efforts near Lookout Reservoir east of Lowell.

According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Ryan Davis was reported missing to Eugene Police on Thursday, May 1. Officials said his last known contact with friends and family was on April 30.

Authorities located Davis’ vehicle parked near the Lookout Reservoir area, prompting an extensive search across rugged terrain and waterways in eastern Lane County.

Search and Rescue teams, along with volunteers, have deployed multiple ground units, while marine patrol teams and divers are actively searching the reservoir. Officials said search canines have been used both on land and in water, and drones from multiple agencies—including the sheriff’s office, Eugene Police Department, and Oregon State Police—are assisting from the air.

The Civil Air Patrol has also joined the effort, conducting aerial searches over the region. Friends and family members have been assisting in the search as well.

Davis is described as a white male adult, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities said it is unknown what he was last wearing.

Anyone with information about Davis’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4150.
