Cheyenne, WY – Mild weather kicks off December as sunny skies and breezy conditions dominate the Cheyenne area today. Residents along I-25 and I-80 can expect daytime highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, accompanied by west-northwest winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Cheyenne, wind gusts may reach 25 mph, particularly in open areas and along major roadways. Drivers are urged to remain cautious of crosswinds, especially on elevated stretches of I-25. Temperatures will drop to around 20 degrees tonight under mostly clear skies, with lighter winds expected overnight.

Looking ahead, Monday will bring slightly warmer conditions, with a high near 51 degrees and sunny skies. Breezy west winds will persist, but gusts should remain under 20 mph. By Tuesday, the region will warm further, with a high near 60 and gusts up to 25 mph. Nights this week will stay chilly, with lows averaging in the mid-20s.

Midweek, clear skies will dominate, with Wednesday’s high near 53 degrees. Thursday marks a slight cooldown with highs near 50 but continued dry conditions. No precipitation is forecast through the weekend, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities.
