Oswego, IL – Police responded to Southbury Elementary School on Tuesday morning after receiving reports of a disturbance. The situation began around 8:45 a.m. when a woman made an illegal U-turn in a crosswalk. When informed that the maneuver was not allowed, the woman allegedly began shouting and yelling at others.
According to the Oswego Police Department, multiple officers were dispatched to the scene to address the situation. The woman continued her disruptive behavior, leading officers to issue her an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct. She was accused of acting in a manner intended to alarm or disturb others, creating a breach of the peace.
The police remained on the scene for approximately 45 minutes to resolve the incident. No injuries were reported, and the situation was handled without further escalation.
