Green Bay, WI – Drivers across central and north-central Wisconsin should be prepared for reduced visibility tonight as patchy fog develops following evening showers, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
The agency reported Tuesday evening that after isolated sprinkles, skies will turn mostly cloudy with temperatures dropping to the lower-to-mid 50s overnight. Fog is expected to form across central and north-central parts of the state, creating potentially hazardous driving conditions late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.
According to forecasters, conditions will improve during the day Wednesday with partly sunny skies and highs ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s. The warming trend is expected to continue through the end of the week, with highs climbing into the low-to-upper 70s Thursday and Friday. Dry weather is also forecast to dominate, with no significant rain chances anticipated.
The National Weather Service advises residents to use caution if traveling overnight or during early morning commutes, as fog can limit visibility and make driving more dangerous.
This week’s weather pattern will keep temperatures slightly above seasonal averages, offering a mild finish to September.
