Green Bay, WI – This weekend marks the beginning of an intense heatwave across Wisconsin, with temperatures expected to climb into the 90s by Monday. The National Weather Service in Green Bay predicts that heat indices could exceed 100 degrees in central Wisconsin.

On Saturday, Green Bay will see mostly clear skies, with a high near 83 degrees. The heat intensifies on Sunday, with temperatures reaching 86 degrees under sunny skies.

Monday is set to be the hottest day, with temperatures soaring to 90 degrees and a heat index possibly hitting 102 in some areas. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, and avoid leaving children or pets in vehicles.

As the week progresses, the heat will persist. Tuesday could see highs near 91 degrees, while temperatures begin to ease slightly on Wednesday, falling back to 83 degrees. Despite a slight cooldown by midweek, conditions will remain warm and humid.
