Green Bay, WI – Rain will continue across northeastern Wisconsin throughout Thursday morning, potentially affecting early commutes on Highway 41 and other major roadways. With up to half an inch of rain possible in some areas, drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and use caution on slick roads. Isolated showers may persist into the afternoon, especially in far eastern parts of the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, rainfall will gradually taper off from west to east by late Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will reach around 50 degrees, but conditions will remain cloudy, with northeast winds around 7 mph. By Thursday night, skies are expected to clear, bringing mostly cloudy but dry conditions. The overnight low will be near 41 degrees.
Looking ahead, Friday promises a break from the rain, with partly sunny skies and a high near 52 degrees. Calm winds and dry weather will create ideal conditions for outdoor activities. The forecast for Friday night remains clear with a low around 38, followed by another dry day Saturday with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 53 degrees.
Residents should anticipate a slight chance of showers late Saturday night into Sunday morning, though rainfall amounts are expected to be minimal. Sunday will see the return of sunny skies and mild temperatures, reaching a high of 56 degrees. Clear skies will continue into Sunday night, with temperatures dropping to a low near 34.
The upcoming days are expected to bring calm weather, allowing northeastern Wisconsin a respite after today’s rain. Green Bay residents planning weekend activities can expect mostly favorable conditions with mild, dry weather into early next week.
