Green Bay, WI – Snowfall is expected across Wisconsin and Minnesota starting Saturday afternoon, with accumulations of up to 3 inches and possible freezing drizzle, creating hazardous travel conditions through Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, light snow will begin in northern Wisconsin this afternoon before spreading across central and northeast Wisconsin later tonight. Most areas will see up to an inch, while north-central and northeast Wisconsin could receive 2 to 3 inches. Freezing drizzle may mix in Sunday morning before precipitation tapers off midday.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities reports that Minnesota will see snowfall beginning mid-morning Saturday, with the heaviest accumulation occurring through early afternoon. Winds gusting up to 35 mph could reduce visibility. Up to 2 inches of snow is expected across areas including St. Cloud, Elk River, and Blaine.

Motorists in both states should prepare for snow-covered and slippery roads, particularly from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Reduced visibility and icy patches may impact travel. Drivers are advised to allow extra time and check local road conditions before heading out.
