Town of Paris, WI – A semi-truck and pickup truck collision claimed the life of a 70-year-old man early Thursday morning.
The crash occurred at the intersection of County Highway N and County Highway MB around 6 a.m. Authorities say a semi-truck heading north on CTH-MB failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The semi continued into the intersection, where it collided with a pickup truck traveling west on CTH-N.

The semi-truck driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police said there is no indication that intoxicants contributed to the crash. Roads near the crash site were closed between 6 a.m. and 11:50 a.m.
The Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) responded to investigate. Officials continue to examine the events leading up to the collision.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office expressed condolences to those affected and reminded drivers to follow traffic laws and avoid distractions.
