Green Bay, WI – A dangerous cold snap continues across Wisconsin, with a Cold Weather Advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday. Wind chills as low as 25 below zero could lead to frostbite in 30 minutes or less.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), wind chills between 15 and 25 below zero will persist through the morning. Northwest winds around 6 mph will make conditions even more dangerous. Residents should dress in layers, limit time outside, and cover exposed skin.

Looking Ahead: A Slow Warm-Up

Thursday will bring partly sunny skies and a high near 26°F, offering some relief. Light winds will shift northwest at 5-10 mph, keeping temperatures brisk but manageable.

By Friday, the sun returns, and highs will reach 21°F, with overnight lows around 10°FSaturdaystarts a warming trend, pushing highs toward 27°F.

Sunday and Monday introduce a chance of rain and snow, with temperatures climbing into the 40s by Monday—a hint of spring after the deep freeze.
