Maryville, MO – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. Friday until midnight for parts of northwest Missouri, including Maryville, Savannah, and Rock Port. Freezing drizzle and light freezing rain are expected to create hazardous conditions during the Friday evening commute.
According to the National Weather Service, ice accumulations will likely remain light, ranging from a glaze to a few hundredths of an inch. The freezing precipitation is expected to develop Friday afternoon and transition to plain rain late Friday night as temperatures rise.
