Winter Storm Warning: Eastern Lake Ontario Region Braces for Up to 10 Inches of Snow Through 10 AM Sunday

Buffalo, NY – A winter storm warning remains in effect for Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis counties through 10 a.m. Sunday, as heavy snow and lake effect snow continue to impact the area.

According to the National Weather Service, additional snow accumulations of 10 to 18 inches are expected across the Tug Hill Plateau and northern Oswego County, with up to 10 inches in other areas by Sunday morning. Gusting winds of up to 35 mph will create poor visibility, making travel very difficult.

Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and prepare for hazardous road conditions. Those needing to drive should proceed with extreme caution.
