Judith Gap, MT – Residents in Judith Gap are urged to prepare for hazardous conditions as a winter weather advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. MST Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, the area will experience occasional snow, with up to one inch of accumulation possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will create blowing snow and significantly reduce visibility, especially along US-191.
Travelers should expect slippery road conditions and reduced visibility throughout the day Saturday. Officials recommend slowing down and exercising caution while driving. Additional periods of light snow are forecast to continue into the weekend, prolonging hazardous conditions in the area.
The advisory highlights the potential for dangerous travel and urges residents to stay updated on road conditions by calling 511 or visiting weather.gov/billings.
Drivers are reminded to take precautions, including carrying an emergency kit and allowing extra travel time to reach their destinations.
