Will County, IL – More than 6,000 classic cars will roll through Will County Tuesday morning as part of the nationally renowned 2025 Hot Rod Power Tour, bringing major traffic activity and a rare car show experience to the area.

According to the Braidwood Police Department, waves of 100 to 200 vintage vehicles will pass through Braidwood between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday. The convoy will travel east from Indianapolis, entering Will County via Route 113 before turning north onto Route 53 toward Wilmington.

This year’s Hot Rod Power Tour marks its 31st year and features five Midwest stops between June 9 and June 13, including Indianapolis, Joliet, Fort Wayne, Monroe, and Norwalk. Tuesday’s final destination for participants is the Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, where a free-to-attend car show and drag racing event will be open to the public.

Tour organizers highlight the event as America’s largest traveling car show, featuring more than 6,000 cars and trucks, drag racing, autocross competitions, live entertainment, and meet-and-greet sessions with MotorTrend talent.
