According to the NWS, the probability of precipitation in Buffalo is expected to rise to 80% by midday, continuing into the evening. High humidity levels and temperatures around 82 degrees Fahrenheit will contribute to the storm activity. Rochester, Batavia, and other surrounding areas will similarly see a high chance of thunderstorms, with the potential for severe weather conditions.
The outlook for the remainder of the week shows some improvement. Wednesday is forecasted to be partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 83 degrees. Thursday will bring clearer skies and a high of 87 degrees. However, by Friday, the region may see another round of rain, with a 35% chance of showers and temperatures peaking at 86 degrees.
Saturday is predicted to be rainy again with a 60% chance of precipitation and temperatures around 82 degrees. The weather will improve on Sunday, bringing mostly sunny skies and temperatures rising to 85 degrees.
