Grand Rapids, MI – Western Michigan residents can expect a varied weather pattern as they head into the Fourth of July weekend. As the holiday approaches, Thursday’s weather will be mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching a high of 86 degrees. While there may be some afternoon sun, cloud cover is expected to dominate, which could impact outdoor festivities.

The forecast for Friday shows a 65% chance of rain, with temperatures dropping to a low of 65 degrees and a high of 79 degrees. Saturday will continue this cooling trend, with partly cloudy skies and highs around 73 degrees. By Sunday, the weather will clear up, offering sunny conditions and a high of 80 degrees.
