Westchester County, NY – Westchester County Police and multiple agencies responded this afternoon to rescue an injured mountain biker in a wooded section of Graham Hills Park, prompting a coordinated emergency response and transport to a local hospital.

According to the Westchester County Police Department, patrol units, special operations teams, and fire and EMS agencies were dispatched to the park after reports of an injured rider in difficult terrain. Officials said a drone was deployed to locate the biker in the heavily wooded area, helping responders navigate the rugged landscape more quickly.

Emergency Service Unit personnel provided initial care while fire department utility vehicles accessed the trail system. Firefighters then transported the injured man to an area near the Saw Mill River Parkway, where Mount Pleasant paramedics and Pleasantville Volunteer Ambulance Corps personnel took over for hospital transport.
