The forecast indicates a shift of the heavy storm threat northeastward on Thursday, with risks remaining throughout the week until a fresh cold front clears the area by Saturday night. At least marginal threats for severe weather and excessive rainfall will persist during this period.

Tonight: Expect isolated thunderstorms with potential for strong, heavy storms in the lower Ohio Valley. The main hazards include locally strong to damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours that may cause water issues in poor drainage areas.

Thursday: The storm threat moves northeastward, maintaining risks for severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. The high for Thursday is 89°F with a 50% chance of rain.

Friday: The unsettled weather continues with a 55% chance of rain and a high of 89°F. Showers and thunderstorms remain likely.

Saturday: Thunderstorms are forecasted to linger with a 60% chance of rain and a cooler high of 82°F. The cold front is expected to begin clearing out the storms by the evening.

Sunday: The weather starts to improve with a 40% chance of lingering showers, reaching a high of 87°F.

Next Week: The start of the week looks sunny and dry with temperatures gradually climbing back into the 90s. Monday will see a high of 90°F, Tuesday 91°F, and Wednesday 90°F, providing a respite from the rainy conditions.
