Warrenville, Ill. — The City of Warrenville has a packed schedule for the next two days to celebrate the Fourth of July. Starting this evening with vendor booths and a parade, the party lasts until tomorrow evening’s fireworks show.
The celebration in Warrenville for Independence Day kicks off today at 5:00 p.m. when vendor booths open. A Fourth of July parade will commence at 6:00 p.m. with the singing of the National Anthem by Natalie Martinez. Other entertainment and live music will follow the rest of the night until 11:00 p.m. at the Pavilion and Main Stage at Cerny Park.
On Friday, events start early with the Firecracker 5k at 8:00 a.m. and Sparkler 1-Miler to follow at 8:45 a.m. Until the Fireworks Show begins at approximately 9:30 p.m., guests can enjoy more live entertainment, a children’s parade, vendor booths, games and contests. There will also be an Opening Flag Ceremony at 12:15 p.m. and Fire Department Water Fights at 2:00 p.m.
