Burlington, VT – A fast-moving winter storm is sweeping across Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire, with snow accumulations of up to 7 inches expected by Sunday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall began Saturday evening and will continue through mid-day Sunday. Northern Vermont counties, including Orleans, Caledonia, and Washington, are forecasted to receive 3 to 6 inches of fluffy snow, with some areas experiencing a light glaze of ice from freezing drizzle Sunday morning.

In New York, Herkimer and Hamilton counties may see snow totals reach 7 inches, accompanied by minor ice accumulations, creating potentially hazardous travel conditions. Southern Vermont, including Bennington and Windham counties, is under similar advisories.

Northern New Hampshire counties, such as Coos and Grafton, are bracing for 3 to 5 inches of snow by early Sunday, as light snowfall tapers off in the afternoon.
