Salt Lake City, UT – Utah and southwest Wyoming are set for another round of hot temperatures this weekend as high pressure continues to dominate the region. Southern Utah will experience highs averaging 5°F above seasonal normals, while northern Utah can expect temperatures 10°F above normal.
According to the US National Weather Service Salt Lake City, the heat will persist throughout the weekend with some relief anticipated as a trough moves through the area starting Monday.
Saturday’s temperatures in Salt Lake City are forecasted to reach a high of 97°F, with Sunday peaking at 99°F. Monday will see a slight drop to 86°F, offering some respite from the heat.
Looking ahead to the week, Tuesday’s high will be 83°F, followed by 90°F on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will see highs of 86°F and 88°F, respectively. Despite the initial scorching conditions, the mid-week forecast brings more manageable temperatures.
