According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5.9 kilometers at approximately 2:16 a.m. local time. The “Did You Feel It?” report from USGS recorded community responses, and residents are encouraged to contribute if they experienced shaking.
The earthquake registered a Level IV intensity on the community internet intensity map, indicating light shaking in the surrounding areas, including nearby Salt Lake City. No major damage or injuries have been reported, but the data is still being collected.
