According to the NWS, wind gusts are expected to reach up to 35 mph on Saturday, decreasing slightly to 30 mph on Sunday and Monday. Combined with humidity levels as low as 6%, these conditions create an elevated risk for wildfires. The affected zones are primarily west of the Green River, including areas that typically see major to extreme weather risks.
The warning, which started Saturday morning, will remain in effect through Monday evening.
