According to the National Weather Service, the region will see mostly sunny conditions today, with temperatures ranging from 80 to 89 degrees. Thursday will bring a shift in the weather, with scattered thunderstorms expected mainly in the south-central and interior west areas of the Upper Peninsula. Highs will again be between 80 to 89 degrees, and lows in the 60s.

The hot weather will persist into Friday, with sunny and warm conditions predicted. Highs are forecasted to be between 82 and 90 degrees, offering little relief from the heat. The weekend will see a slight drop in temperatures, with highs in the upper 70s on Saturday and low 70s on Sunday.
