Specifically, Gaylord is forecasted to see temperatures around 86°F, while Traverse City and Big Rapids will experience similar conditions.
The National Weather Service has indicated that the weather pattern will begin to shift as the weekend approaches. A more seasonable temperature trend is anticipated, starting on Saturday with highs around 78°F, and continuing into early next week. By Monday, temperatures are expected to drop further, settling into the mid-70s.
In addition to the cooler temperatures, occasional showers and thunderstorms are predicted through the rest of the workweek. There is a 75% chance of rain today, with scattered thunderstorms likely on Thursday and Friday. As the weekend progresses, the weather will gradually clear, leading to sunny skies on Saturday.
