According to village officials, the purported representatives have been going door to door without village approval, raising suspicions among the community. The unauthorized presence of these individuals has prompted a warning from local authorities, urging residents to remain cautious.
If approached by someone claiming to be from ComEd, residents are advised to contact the County police at 815-933-3324.
