Lipscomb, AL – A shooting in Lipscomb left one man dead and a woman injured early Wednesday morning. Deputies responded to UAB West Hospital after reports of two gunshot victims.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a 21-year-old woman drove herself and an 18-year-old man to the hospital. She had a gunshot wound but survived. The man was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Investigators determined the shooting happened in the 1800 block of Crescent Avenue in Lipscomb. Authorities have not released information on a suspect or motive.
