Twin Cities, MN – A chilly but calm Friday will give way to scattered rain showers late tonight into early Saturday morning, according to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, Minnesota. Temperatures will warm this afternoon as southerly winds develop, with highs reaching the mid-50s to around 60°F.
Clouds will thicken overnight, and light rain is expected to develop after midnight, tapering off by mid-morning Saturday. Highs Saturday will stay mild, again in the upper 50s to near 60°F, with mostly dry and breezy conditions returning later in the day.
Sunday looks dry for most of the region under increasing clouds, while additional light rain chances return Monday and Tuesday. Overnight lows throughout the weekend will remain cool, ranging from the mid-30s to lower 40s.
Forecasters say the pattern remains seasonable, with no major storms expected — just intermittent light showers and typical late-October chill.
