Minneapolis, Minnesota – Much of Minnesota will enjoy a warm and dry stretch through Saturday, with clear skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s.

According to the National Weather Service Twin Cities, a strong high-pressure system is holding over the region, keeping storm systems at bay and delivering ideal summer weather. Highs from Wednesday through Saturday are expected to remain steady between 75–80°F, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Rain chances return Sunday, but remain low at just 20%.

The Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Mankato will all see consistent summer warmth with minimal humidity. Roads, parks, and outdoor venues will remain ideal for travel and events through most of the weekend. However, Sunday afternoon may bring isolated storms, especially south of I-94 and toward the Wisconsin border.

Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and use sun protection, especially during peak afternoon hours. With no significant rain expected, those managing gardens or crops should monitor soil moisture and irrigate as needed.

The next weather system is likely to develop late Sunday into Monday, but current models show limited precipitation potential.
