Minneapolis, MN – The National Weather Service Twin Cities predicts a warmer and drier forecast ahead with daily chances for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. The best chances for thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon into Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, lower chances for thunderstorms are anticipated in the afternoons next week. Rainfall in general will be more isolated rather than widespread. Tonight, expect temperatures to drop to 55-60°F under mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday’s forecast calls for a 70-80°F range with a significant chance of thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon. Saturday night will see temperatures between 60-65°F with continued thunderstorm possibilities. Sunday follows a similar pattern with highs between 70-80°F and thunderstorm chances in the afternoon, extending into the evening with lows around 60-65°F.

Monday and Tuesday continue the trend with daytime temperatures ranging from 75-82°F and chances of thunderstorms each afternoon. Nighttime temperatures are expected to remain steady between 60-65°F.
