Chicago, IL — Cooler temperatures and spotty showers are set to arrive in Chicago this week, with some breezy conditions expected. Mild temperatures will continue overnight, with lows ranging between 46-56 degrees. On Tuesday, light showers and sprinkles are likely, especially near Lake Michigan.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be cooler, with highs in the 60s and wind gusts creating breezy conditions across the city. Thursday night into Friday morning could see widespread showers and a few thunderstorms, although significant rainfall remains unlikely.

Temperatures for the rest of the week will trend cooler but remain slightly above typical levels for late October. By Friday, any remaining showers will taper off by the afternoon. Lows will dip into the mid-30s, with chilly breezes, especially at night.
