Detroit, MI – Starting August 23, Livernois Avenue in Detroit will be temporarily closed for bike path construction as part of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. This closure is expected to last until August 26, affecting traffic flow in the area.
The closure will stretch from Fort Street to the northbound I-75 Service Drive. Additionally, two right lanes on southbound Livernois Avenue will be closed between the northbound and southbound I-75 Service Drives. Despite these closures, the northbound I-75 Service Drive at Livernois Avenue will remain open for traffic heading northbound on Livernois.
