Lisle, IL – The Illinois Tollway announced that a full closure of the westbound I-88 ramp to Illinois Route 53 will occur overnight Friday, October 18. The closure will begin at 10 p.m. to allow for bridge and retaining wall repairs, including bridge staining and painting.
According to the Illinois Tollway, the ramp will reopen by 8 a.m. Saturday. Detours will route drivers from the westbound I-88 Naperville Road Interchange using Freedom Drive and Warrenville Road to access Illinois Route 53.
