Tornado Watch Issued for Southern and Central Arkansas Through Midnight

Little Rock, AR – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for Southern and Central Arkansas, effective from 3:55 p.m. CDT Monday until midnight.

According to the NWS, the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl are expected to bring a moist air mass and a strong wind field to the ArkLaTex region, increasing the potential for tornadoes this evening. The watch area extends approximately 75 miles east and west of a line from 70 miles south of Hot Springs to 35 miles north-northwest of Little Rock.

Residents are advised to stay alert for severe weather conditions and monitor updates.
