SPRINGFIELD, MO – March 14, 2025 – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Springfield has issued a Tornado Warning for southeastern Webster County and northwestern Wright County, Missouri, effective until 7:15 PM CDT.
At 6:39 PM CDT, meteorologists detected a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Diggins, approximately 10 miles southeast of Marshfield. The storm is moving northeast at 65 mph and is also producing tennis ball-sized hail (2.5 inches in diameter).

- Tornado: Radar-indicated rotation suggests the possibility of a tornado forming.
- Large Hail: Hailstones up to 2.5 inches in diameter could cause significant damage to vehicles, roofs, and windows.
- Wind Damage: Flying debris could be dangerous to anyone outdoors, and mobile homes are especially vulnerable.
