In addition to the severe weather risk, Boise is experiencing a heatwave, with temperatures forecasted to reach a high of 101°F today. The NWS advises residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against the heat. The heatwave is expected to continue, with temperatures slightly decreasing but remaining high, reaching 99°F on Tuesday and mid-90s for the rest of the week.
