Corpus Christi, TX – Following the stormy conditions yesterday, a calm weather pattern will settle over the region today, with highs ranging from the mid-80s to low 90s. Most areas can expect pleasant, partly cloudy skies, with a slight breeze from the northeast at around 15 mph. Showers and thunderstorms are possible by Saturday, though their chances remain low, at just 20%.
According to the National Weather Service, while the risk for severe storms is minimal, the heat will return by the weekend. Temperatures will climb again into the 90s by Saturday, with warmer conditions expected through early next week. Corpus Christi will see highs near 86°F, with slightly cooler temperatures along the coast. Residents should take advantage of today’s cooler weather, as the upcoming week could bring sweltering conditions.
In areas further inland, including Beeville, Alice, and Tilden, temperatures will hover between 87°F and 88°F, with mild overnight lows in the mid-60s. By Tuesday, highs in Corpus Christi could soar to 104°F, while much of southern Texas will experience similar heat.
