Austin, TX – Dense fog is expected to significantly reduce visibility across central and coastal Texas through Wednesday morning, impacting travel and marine navigation. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued multiple Dense Fog Advisories covering major highways and coastal waters.
According to the NWS, visibility in some areas may drop to a quarter mile or less. The Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. CST Wednesday for Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding counties, while coastal waters near Corpus Christi and Galveston are under advisory until noon CST Wednesday.
