Corpus Christi is forecast to reach 80°F today, with temperatures climbing into the upper 90s Sunday and Monday.
Overnight lows will remain mild, generally in the upper 50s to upper 60s, with patchy fog developing inland. Winds will stay light and variable, adding to the stagnant, warm pattern dominating the region.
No measurable rain is forecast through the middle of next week, and the continued dry, sunny weather raises concerns for elevated fire danger and heat-related illnesses.
