Corpus Christi, TX – South Texas residents can expect continued unseasonably warm conditions through midweek, with high temperatures near or exceeding 90°F daily across the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, a weak frontal boundary is expected to pass through Friday, April 11, but will offer little to no relief. Daytime highs will remain above normal through at least Wednesday, April 16, with inland cities such as Laredo and Cotulla reaching 93°F and 92°F respectively. Corpus Christi is forecast to reach 80°F today, with temperatures climbing into the upper 90s Sunday and Monday.

Overnight lows will remain mild, generally in the upper 50s to upper 60s, with patchy fog developing inland. Winds will stay light and variable, adding to the stagnant, warm pattern dominating the region.

No measurable rain is forecast through the middle of next week, and the continued dry, sunny weather raises concerns for elevated fire danger and heat-related illnesses. Residents are urged to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged outdoor activity during peak heat hours, and monitor vulnerable individuals.

This stretch of heat is several degrees above seasonal averages, which typically range from the mid-70s to low 80s in early April. A return to more normal conditions may arrive late next week.
