By Friday, temperatures are expected to peak at 100 degrees, before slightly dropping to 99 degrees on Saturday. Sunday’s forecast indicates a high of 96 degrees. The heat index, which measures how hot it feels when humidity is factored in, will be significantly higher, reaching up to 112 degrees in some areas.
