Fort Worth, TX – Thunderstorms and heavy rain are causing travel hazards across Dallas-Fort Worth overnight, with a flood advisory in effect until 6:15 AM Wednesday. Drivers are urged to use caution as minor flooding impacts low-lying and poor drainage areas, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

NWS reports urban and small stream flooding in Dallas and Tarrant counties, including Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, and Garland. Rainfall is expected to ease by Wednesday morning, though fog may reduce visibility before 11 AM.

Wednesday will bring partly sunny skies with a high of 59°F, followed by clear and cool conditions overnight, with a low of 25°F. Winds will shift northwest at 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.

By Thursday, temperatures will rise slightly to 58°F with sunny skies, ahead of warmer conditions for Valentine’s weekendSaturday’s high is expected to reach 71°F, with a slight chance of showers in the morning.
