San Antonio, TX – South-Central Texas is experiencing unseasonably warm temperatures, with highs expected to reach near 90°F by Saturday. While mornings may start with patchy fog, afternoons will bring mostly sunny skies and rising temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service, San Antonio will see highs in the upper 70s on Wednesday, increasing to the mid-80s Thursday and Friday before hitting 90°F on Saturday. The warm spell is expected to break Sunday evening as a cold front moves in, bringing temperatures closer to seasonal averages.

Morning fog will be an issue through Friday, reducing visibility on major roadways, including I-10 and I-35. Drivers should allow extra travel time during early commutes.

Sunday will remain mostly sunny with a high near 80°F before clouds increase overnight. Monday marks the return of rain chances, with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms developing throughout the day. Cooler temperatures in the mid-60s will follow.

Residents should prepare for foggy mornings and unseasonably high temperatures through the weekend. Keep an eye on forecast updates as rain approaches early next week.
